SLO in the City

The most amazing thing happened. ALYSSA SLOCUM CAME TO VISIT!

I first saw her up at Mallory's apartment on the upper east, we all caught up and had a great time. Next Slo and I met up with Carly for dinner and drinks before a off-broadway show Once. Having dinner with Slo and Carly was great- past prezzzz and the assistant to the prez- pretty fitting if you say so.
We had a good dinner with an odd odd waitress. Probably wont be back, because I know with my luck I would be stuck with her. Since Carly had already seen once, Slo, Mallory and I headed off to the theater. We got some Wine in a sippy cup, and enjoyed amazing show! If you havent seen the Broadway show of it- you should check out the movie. The show was funny, sad, inspiring, and very well done. Each performer played their own music and the writer of the play deserves another Tony- it has already won 8.

Wine and Baldy

I could go on an on about the show- I urge you to watch the show, movie or even listen to the soundtrack! It was flawless- well except for the ending. I didnt think that was how it was going to end so i was a little surprised. but isnt that what broadway is all about- surprise?

Even though I was unable to see Slo as much as I wanted to- seeing another beat upsilon try and take over NYC is great! I hope she had fun and I am so happy for her to begin the real world at her new job in seattle! I know I will be seeing you soon!!
