Sex&TheCity

Sometimes I wonder if I was someone in my past life, of if I will be someone in my next life. Let me tell you- I no longer wonder who I was or will be, because I already chose! You may say it doesn't work like that, you can't choose- well I don't care I did. I will be..drum roll please...
Carrie Bradshaw! The classic New York woman who was in search for labels and love. Finding both while living a fabulous life with her three best friends and her mysterious Big. Okay so I might not get exactly what I want in my other lives, so I might as well make the most of living like her while here in the big apple.
Many of you are shocked that it has taken me so long to write about her, but here it goes.... I dont know what to do first- write or just show you the pictures? Fine I will show you the first one...
One of the most iconic moments from Sex and the City that happened on the Brooklyn Bridge was when Miranda and Steve decided to meet in the center of the Bridge. As Miranda put it "if the other person doesn't show up, your're rejected...and on a bridge." I did pass across the the point where they rekindled their love, and was very happy that they ended up together. Another spot on the Brooklyn Bridge was when Sarah Jessica Parker had a photo shoot for Harper Bazaar- though it was not from SATC- anything dealing with SJP is close enough for me.

She may be more stylish than me- but I dont care. I am sill obsessed.

One of the greatest moments in my New York living experience happened on Sunday. That day, I walked the 10 minutes to the most iconic house in all of New York City- and possibly all of the United States (besides the White House- but that doesn't really count because it is paid for by our taxes- oh and on a side note this whole no income tax thing is pretty cool- I actually get what i make. But the sales tax is KILLING me- not a fan. when something says 3.99 it should be 3.99 not like 18.54. It's not actually that- its only 8%. but that 8% really throws me off). Okay back to the greatest moments in my life.. visiting 66 Perry Street.

This is recognizable by any normal female over the age of 18- if you don't know it- then I don't know you. Just Kidding. Not really though... I can't even describe what this house means, it's just the greatest thing ever. I thought I would have more to say, but I am still speechless that I was standing there. Cheesy- but it's true.

This whole journey of being by myself in New York has really allowed me to grow, I have learned so much about the city and myself. I am so excited to see what else I will be doing, and what more I will learn. And as Carrie said...
"The most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find someone to love the you that you love, well, that's just fabulous."

xoxo
