So I have already written about the Chelsea Piers- and how it is my little oasis here in the City. But I dont feel bad about writing about this place again and again. No matter how much I write about it- I dont think anyone will get how much I love it.

I spent my tuesday night watching the sunset over the Hudson river. It really doesnt get much better than this. I also went out to the pier because it was a minor heat wave- just kidding major heat wave- and being near the water with a breeze is an amazing feeling. This heat wave also made NYU send out an email stating...
"The Cooling Stations will be in effect beginning today, Monday, July 15th and will continue during the height of the current heat wave. You will receive another message regarding the closing of these stations. If you have the ability to stay in alternation accommodations, we encourage you to take advantage of this."
As of Monday the 22nd the Cooling Stations are still here- I am in one right now writing. And can we emphasize the last sentence about staying somewhere else- NYU we pay how much to live here this summer and now you want people to stay somewhere else? you probably shouldn't have built a sweatshop on 5th ave.
Oh yeah- New York doesn thave any stars either...
